Mensan TV Show Development

Hi fabulous M's!

So I have a project underway that I need help from all
NY-area Mensans on. The first one is urgent...

1. My friend Sadia (a TV/play producer and all around awesome chick)
has been in touch with VH1 about putting together a TV show or series
of TV shows based on "cool" Mensans. We are going to meet with them
this week and they've asked us to gather a group of cool NY Mensans.
You don't have to necessarily be involved in show business. I don't
know all the details yet, I just got a very excited voicemail from her
asking me to put out an APB to any and all interested/interesting
NY-area Mensans. The meeting with VH1 will be this wednesday at 3PM,
so if you are availabe and at all interested please shoot me an email - angela.hamilton@gmail.com. We
need you guys to make this happen so please be in touch!!!

2. Still soliciting plays for my evening of Mensan theater. If you are a theater person and you're interested in this kind of a showcase, shoot me an email!

For those of us not in the NY area, please keep us posted about this TV show business! I would LOVE to watch a show about people like me. Finally something decent on television...? :)

Yeah, that too! I go to college in Cambridge (which is more or less Boston), so I live here 90% of the time, and I would love to be involved as well. Also I don't know how much Mensan representation we have here at MIT, but I'd imagine it's probably a larger percentage than at most colleges, so I can offer that as well. :)

Geena Davis has a home in New York and is a Mensan. Patricia Kennealy-Morrison, Jim Morrison's ex-girlfriend and Wiccan author, is a New York Mensan. There's also the Gen-X woman with the tattoos and piercings that appeared on the Bulletin last year. She's from New York State, although I don't know if it's NYC.
